proved that they can turn up to work on time, are neat and tidy and can accept
challenges,
They are more aware of and have had greater opportunity to develop their self
confidence, leadership, organisational, managerial, communication and supervisory skills,
They have a greater sense of responsibility and are better team members,
They acquire many useful additional trades and skills, e.g. driving and first aid
training,
Their training costs their employer nothing apart from any additional time off which
they may be granted,
The qualities and commitment of the WWCT soldier set an example to others and enrich
the community in which they live and work.
